Ridge Farm Wedding Flowers,
Designed to Feel Naturally Beautiful

Ridge Farm Wedding Flowers can feel luxurious without ever feeling rigid. For Lauren and Chris, the brief was wonderfully relaxed: beautiful seasonal flowers throughout the venue, styled with the loose movement and natural variety of stems freshly cut from a summer garden.

The Botanical Company creates bespoke wedding floristry from our Surrey Hills studio. We design bridal bouquets, bridesmaid flowers, buttonholes, ceremony arrangements, reception flowers, table florals and larger suspended installations, with every part of the scheme developed around the couple, the season and the spaces they are using.

A garden-inspired wedding does not mean leaving things to chance. The apparent effortlessness comes from careful choices of colour, proportion, texture and flower variety so that the finished arrangements feel abundant and natural rather than overworked.

The Floral Story

Summer Garden Flowers,
Loose, Scented & Full of Movement

Lauren and Chris wanted the floristry to feel relaxed and generous rather than formally arranged. Roses and sweet peas brought romance and scent, Ammi visnaga created airy movement, flowering mint introduced freshness and texture, and other seasonal florals allowed the arrangements to feel naturally varied throughout the day.

Lauren & Chris
A Relaxed July Wedding

Lauren and Chris were married at Ridge Farm in July. Their wedding had exactly the atmosphere they wanted: super chilled, summery and full of beautiful flowers that felt as though they belonged naturally in the surroundings.

Their ceremony took place outside in the woodlands, giving the floristry an already green and natural backdrop. Rather than competing with the setting, the flowers were designed to feel like an extension of it: romantic garden stems, soft textures and seasonal ingredients arranged with plenty of movement.

The reception moved inside to the Pool House, where the floral design could become more dramatic. Suspended arrangements of seasonal flowers and foliage were created overhead, adding scale and impact while leaving the tables and guest sightlines open below.

Those suspended flowers became one of the real wow-factor moments of the celebration. They allowed the floristry to occupy the full height of the room and gave guests the feeling of being surrounded by the scheme rather than simply looking at arrangements placed on tables.

It is exactly the balance we aim for with Ridge Farm Wedding Flowers: flowers that feel effortless and relaxed when seen up close, but with carefully chosen statement moments that transform the atmosphere of the day.

The Bouquet

Garden-Gathered,
Soft & Full of Scent

Lauren’s bouquet was designed with the same loose, garden-picked spirit as the rest of the wedding. The aim was not perfect symmetry, but balance: some stems sitting higher, some falling more softly and plenty of variation in shape so the bouquet felt alive in her hands.

Roses provided the romantic foundation, while sweet peas brought delicacy and fragrance. Ammi visnaga added airy structure and flowering mint introduced another layer of texture and scent that helped the bouquet feel genuinely seasonal rather than simply decorative.

The softer, less structured approach also suited the woodland setting. Garden-style flowers can sit beautifully against an outdoor backdrop because they retain the irregularity and movement found in the landscape around them.

The result was a Ridge Farm Wedding Flowers palette that felt colourful, romantic and completely at ease with a July celebration.

Roses: romantic form and soft summer colour.

Sweet peas: delicate petals and unmistakable fragrance.

Ammi visnaga: airy structure and garden-like movement.

Flowering mint: fresh texture, scent and an unexpected seasonal detail.

The Pool House

Suspended Flowers
for the Wow Factor

Suspended florals are one of the most effective ways to change the feeling of a reception space. They draw the eye upwards, introduce movement overhead and allow a large amount of flower and foliage to be experienced without filling every available surface.

For Lauren and Chris’s Pool House reception, seasonal flowers and foliage were suspended above the celebration. The arrangements echoed the same loose, garden-inspired language as the bouquet and table flowers, but their scale created a completely different experience.

The overhead flowers also created a sense of continuity between the outdoor woodland ceremony and the indoor reception. Foliage helped bring a little of the outside in, while seasonal blooms retained the colour, softness and romance of the wider scheme.

For couples who want Ridge Farm Wedding Flowers to make a memorable impact, a suspended installation can create that moment of surprise when guests enter the reception while still keeping the overall design elegant and considered.

The Setting

Floral Design Made
for Ridge Farm

Ridge Farm gave Lauren and Chris two very different settings within the same celebration: an outdoor woodland ceremony and an indoor Pool House reception. That contrast created an opportunity for the flowers to evolve rather than simply repeat.

In the woodlands, the floristry could remain softer and more understated, allowing the trees and natural setting to do part of the visual work. Inside, the suspended arrangements could become larger and more immersive, creating a memorable reception reveal.

The venue was still the backdrop rather than the starting point. The floral story began with Lauren and Chris’s relaxed brief, their love of garden-style flowers and the July season, then we considered where those ingredients could have the greatest effect.

If you are planning your own celebration at Ridge Farm, we can design personal flowers, woodland ceremony florals, table arrangements and suspended installations as one connected scheme.
